Saturday, November 26: This Saturday is a whirlwind mini book tour! From noon until 1:30 pm, I’ll be set up at the Coles bookstore at the Truro mall to sign books and meet readers, then starting at 3 pm, I’ll be doing the same at the Coles bookstore at the Amherst mall. While signing books is nerve-wracking – can’t make a mistake! – I truly enjoy meeting readers and not only learning about how they related to Field Notes but also hearing about their own adventures in country living.
Sunday, November 27: On Sunday afternoon, at 2 pm, Tidewater Books in Sackville, New Brunswick is hosting a Field Notes event at the United Church on Main Street. I’ll be reading from a couple of essays and signing books after. Also, we are preparing a special version of John Denver’s “Country Roads” for a unique singalong. This is one book event we won’t soon forget!
