Tidewater Books in Sackville, New Brunswick, is hosting a Field Notes book event Sunday, November 27 at 2 p.m. The venue is the United Church at the corner of Main and Bridge Streets. I’ll be reading from a couple of essays, including the one about fondling goats at the Moncton Zoo, and there will be a very special singalong of John Denver’s best-known song, “Country Roads”. You don’t want to miss that! Nor do you want to miss the heart-shaped oat cakes…a reward for the hardy souls who don’t let the “red bar of doom” on the Environment Canada website deter them from showing up at 2 o’clock.
Afterwards, we’ll all trek down the street to the bookstore for Tidewater’s annual Customer Appreciation Day.
